Lust Goddess paired two returning Commanders for a one-week event announced September 24: Bernice, the flame-fueled aggressor last seen paired with Alexa in June, and Morgan, a turret specialist who has rotated through partners including Wanda, Desiree and Kraisa since her Steam debut back in March 2025. It’s the first time this particular pair has run together, offering a choice between a Burning-heavy build and a ranged support-and-artillery one.
Bernice plays the aggressor: whenever an enemy attacks her, she gains Resistance for two turns and spreads Burning to every enemy mercenary, a passive that stays active until turn 3. On turn 2 she applies Burning to the whole enemy side, including their Commander, and heals herself for 200% of her current Health. On turn 4 she spreads Burning once more and hands every allied mercenary on the field — or freshly summoned that turn — Multi-Attack, Accuracy and Antidote, turning her whole side into a stacked-buff wildfire. One caveat, added in the August 12 rebalance patch: Burning no longer goes off when the attacked Commander is the one whose team applied it, so hits on Bernice herself won’t set off her side’s flames.
Morgan takes the ranged-support route. Her turn 2 ability drops Morgan’s Turret into the front row with its own Force Shield: it snipes a random enemy mercenary every time a ranged ally attacks, and passes Force Shields to the allies behind it if it falls, respawning a turn later. Turn 3 grants every ranged ally that joins the field over the next four turns — Replicas excluded — a Force Shield of their own, and from turn 4 each ranged ally’s attack on a non-Commander enemy also chips 20% of its Attack off the enemy Commander directly.
The same week brought two more dated events for Commanders working the mercenary roster:
- September 24 — Hour of Lawlessness returned with the same Administrative Tower premise as its July run, though this time Justina is joined by fellow mercenaries Nonna and Britney instead of River and Natasha, through the usual quest-and-roulette token loop.
- September 30 — a Freeman event opened its familiar 24-hour window to hire one mercenary from a trio of Freeman-faction picks.
