Commander Progression
Commanders level up alongside your account, and their base stats define how much your squad can absorb. In the July 16, 2026 progression update Hooligapps rebalanced the curve, with the official announcement giving these numbers:
- Health gained per level was increased across levels 38–90.
- The change adds up to +500 Health for Legendary Commanders and +200 for Rare Commanders.
- At level 121 a Legendary Commander now has 4,000 base Health (up from 3,500); a Rare Commander has 2,800 (up from 2,600).
- Ability values were adjusted to match the new Health curve, and new levels were added for Legendary Commanders, extending progression further.
Practical takeaway: the mid-game (levels 38–90) is noticeably less punishing than it was before July 2026, and Legendary Commanders scale further at the top end. Ability details for the newest Commanders are on the Characters page.
Alliance Wars
Alliances fight in seasonal Alliance Wars, pooling resources toward shared goals. Since the season that started July 20, 2026, alliance resources have a hard storage cap, per the official rules:
- Maximum storage is 2,000,000,000 per resource type.
- If you already held more than the cap when it landed, your stock was not cut — but you cannot accumulate more until you drop below the limit.
- Once below the cap, collection works normally up to the 2B ceiling.
In short: hoarding beyond 2B per resource is no longer possible, so alliances now plan spending around the cap instead of stockpiling indefinitely.
Free Progression Resources
Beyond events, steady sources of free progression are the daily login streak, daily and weekly quests, and occasional promo codes from official channels — how codes work (and which circulating ones are real) is covered on the promo codes page, and team-building basics live in the Beginner’s Guide.
All numbers above are from official Steam announcements (July 2026) and can change with future patches.
